So the Bad day continues.....

Let's just start with I don't think there is a clean sleeper in the house for Eva. Yesterday, Eva started pooping out of everything. Which with her is kind of an event that takes place on a usual basis. Often enough that you wouldn't relate it to her being sick.

Anyway, this morning at about 6:30 She wakes up because she pooped all over her bed, so daddy who gets up with her in the morning, cleans her up and puts her back to sleep. So Jake gets in the shower, and when he gets out she is screaming again, so he checks on her and she had puked all over herself.

So there it is. Two sick kids! All of Eva's sheets and blankets are nasty, and Morgan's car-seat from yesterday still needs to be taken apart and cleaned. BLAH! I am not a Vomit mommy. Seriously, most moms I think can clean up after there kids, when they are sick. I just can't I have the hardest time ever. I actually think part of that stems from my pregnancies.

I was always so sick while I was pregnant that I am just so sick of VOMIT. Then When I was pregnant with Eva, Morgan was still little enough that he couldn't tell you he was going to be sick and so he would just walk around vomiting. So add that to an already sick mommy and voilà, you have a mommy who absolutely  cannot clean up vomit without gagging big time.

SO pray for me, as I begin the enormous task of cleaning all of the puke covered clothes.YUCK!

Today, was not a good day....

Many of you know that my poor baby Eva, has had some throat problems since she was born. Well she has been seeing a specialist at Primary Children's for a couple of months now. Several tests have been and yet no Diagnosis.

So today, we make our weekly trek to the hospital to see her ENT. Pretty much all of you know how far that is. It's way up on the East Bench next to UoU. It takes at least an hour to get there speeding, another 20-30 minutes to park.

Anyway, we are like two whole lights from the Hospital and all of a sudden Morgan starts puking his guts out all over the place in the back seat. Meanwhile, I am trying to hold a bag up so he can be sick in the bag. No such luck I walked away with a puke covered hand.

Now for decision time. Do I a. call the Dr and try to reschedule, which is like next to impossible, or b. wipe as much puke off of Morgan and go inside. Well I chose the latter. And I guess it was the thing to do.

Back to the appointment. We finally get in the Hospital. I'm at the wrong clinic. Today, the Dr was working the clinic at University Hospital not Primary's. So off we trek the 20 minutes it takes to get through 2 Hospitals with 2 kids. Now it's finally time for the visit.

Last weeks test for striders came up inconclusive. So today we were going to discuss the next steps to take. So here it is.....

Eva has to spend 2 days at Primary's having 5 different tests run..... Here's the one that makes me want to cry. Eva is being tested for Cystic Fibrosis. Yes you read that right. I was like WHAT! But I guess it could be a real possibility.

So trekking through the Hospital with a puke smellin' kid was worth it. But then by the end of the day, and the ride home I felt so alone about the whole thing. No friends close by to cry with, no moms either. Jake at work. Just by myself with my poor pukey kid and my baby. So Jake will be taking the day or two off to help me at the hospital, and me, I am absolutely beside myself. I will for sure be staying with Eva in the Hospital. As for now it's just more worrying. Hoping for an answer.

I Know Right!?!?!?!

No, no one has died, but I'm sure you were all thinking the worst. So back by popular demand, the Toronto's will be blogging again. Thanks to all the nagging of my closest and dearest friends and Family.

All we need to do now is catch up on what... 5 months of our life. It's no small feat, but I think in time I will be able to single handedly remember everything that has gone on.

October....

The kids and I went to Arizona right after General Conference. It was a lot of fun, and my first trip driving the kids by myself. I would like to take the time and brag. I made it in 9 1/2 hours to my parents place. Which is what the ride should be, but in trips past it takes more like 12 or 13 hours with the kids and that's with Jake and I both going. So I was really proud of myself.

We were there for 2 weeks and had a blast. Time was filled with DIRT, fishing, playing with Papa's dog Bailey, visits with Great-Grandparents, playing in Grandpa Rogers garden, good food and lots and lots of helping hands. Jake drove down with my sister at the end of our trip to drive back with me. Morgan, of course rode back with his Aunt, where they danced the trip away, listening to my sisters favorite RAP music. We'll just say that Morgan loves to "Get Down."

Seriously, My sister has taught Morgan how to throw peace signs (cool) he does the whole "sup" thing, gangster walk and now he can "drop it like it's HOT"

Halloween was of course a Blast. Morgan went as a Football player complete with black eye and bloody nose. Eva was a Skunk, I went as a witch and Jake wore tattoo sleeves. First we trick or treated at Jake's work and then of course we hit a good ole fashion TRUNK or TREAT. The kids seriously made out which means Jake and I made out with about a ton of candy.

Last but not least Morgan completely potty trained in like 2 weeks time. Once it clicked it just clicked. Honestly, though the best thing was just sticking him in "panties" that's what Morgan calls them. Pull ups just gave him the excuse to be lazy about going in the toilet. So if he didn't "feel like it" he would just pee on himself and then bring me a new one and say "change please."

November....

I love the fall and November was definitely Fall. It started getting nice and wintry around these parts. The weeks passed quickly and  we had a huge Thanksgiving with our friend Tiana. Tiana's Husband works out of the country a lot and so Thanksgiving it was just her and the kids. So we crashed the party so to speak. It was so fun. We of course played Guitar Hero World Tour, and ate until the button on our pants would pop.

December....

Eva had the first of many appointments to come with a specialist for a throat problem she has had since birth. The Doctor thought she would grow out of it, but it just hasn't gone away. So we now have to drive to Primary Children's, here's to this years tax write off's.

Then My mom came to town. She helped with preparing for Christmas and Eva's Birthday. We had a ton of snow and it even snowed on Christmas! Morgan was so excited, this year was the one where "Santa" finally clicks. There was total awe and excitement over Santa wrapped presents, bows, and lights. Morgan just loved everything and of course wanted everything put together and batteries put in right away. I think his favorites were new "panties" that bike you hook up to the tv and it's like a video game, and his huge Fire truck. Eva loved and still loves all of her new dolls and she is such a girly girl. She doesn't like being dirty and she loves to be dressed up.

The Day followed with Christmas Ham, potatoes, sweet potatoes, lots and lots of GRAVY ,squash , rolls, corn, green beans and about million pies.

The 26th....

More Ham.........

Conveniently the day you want to shop the sales and return things my sister had her wisdom teeth removed. Making the next few days a lot of fun. We immediately took everything Christmas down. So as not to run the Holiday into Eva's Birthday. We want her birthday to still feel like a birthday and not like it get's lumped in with Christmas. So everything came down and it was time to prepare for the BIRTHDAY!

27th....

Eva turned 1! Holy Cow I know! My most Recent baby has already been a blessing in our home more than a year now. I feel like I just had her and its still 2 Christmas' ago. So Eva turned 1 and took her first steps on her big day.

Jake and I then packed the kids up and drove to Arizona to spend New Years with his Mom and Dad, His sister and her family were also in town from Manhattan. It was total chaos and of course a total blast.

Kids were everywhere and in to everything at all times. It's never a vacation when we go home because both sides live in the same little town. So time is split and it's hard to split. We went Sledding with both sides, did family name sealings at the the Snowflake Temple. Which is the Temple Jake and I were married in. Worked on the computers. Everyone always has a computer question when we go home and so much more. We seem to just be running around the whole time like chickens with our heads cut off and then the trip is finally over and we drive home exhausted.

January....

The First week we were still in Arizona. The best part was when we got back Jake had a 3-day weekend right a way.  So we were able to catch up a little. Eva started completely walking on her 13 month birthday, and  Morgan taught Eva how to GROWL. That's right, growl. The best part is when we are the store and they are sitting in the back of the cart together and they start growling back and forth. OMG it's frackin' hilarious.

February....

Has gone off with a bang! I had Red peek-a-boos put in my hair, Eva started drinking from a straw and on Valentines Day Eva said " mum" for the first time.

Valentines was so much fun, we had a blast together without the kids. Lots of truffles!

And so today we had Sunday dinner at Jake's Aunt's house, where another one Jake's siblings was in Town to ski. So we all got together. Again chaos, but fun!

One of Jake's cousins is a Song writer. Really she is. A lot of famous singers have paid for her songs. Anyway, she was telling us tonight about a really heartfelt and emotional story about one of her newest songs.

After Heath Ledger died, she really felt impressed to write a song for his daughter and it is absolutley beautiful, and the best part is she was actually able to present the song to Michelle Williams. SO I wanted you all to see and hear the video that she made and put on Youtube. Enjoy and I promise you'll stay updated!
