Graduation

It's amazing the way you feel when you start GRADUATING in life. When you have your first kid you think, "Man this will never, ever, ever, ever end" then slowly but surely not only is there light at the end of the tunnel, but you're at the end of the tunnel.

It's amazing that during this never ending battle of cheerios on the floor your precious children are growing slowly and graduating to a more joyous and helpful human being!

You know what else is amazing, during all of these ups and downs Jake and I have had child after child and we too have aged and graduated in many things we were child like in, and now the ever so amazing man in my life is graduating tomorrow in life....no he's not dead....but he's on his way. Jake turns 30!!!!

I'm so grateful for all the wonderful experiences in our life we have had. So thankful we were so young 7 years ago when we met and just as young when we married each other 6 years ago. We have truly molded together and finished growing up in a lot of ways together. Here's to Eternity Jake! Can't wait to learn more and more with you, maybe in 30 more years you'll look 40!?!

So Happy Birthday Jake and enjoy being KING of the Castle tomorrow!

Seriously

Because everyone who knows me thinks Music leader! Yep that's my new calling. I lead the music in Relief Society now. CRAZY! I know no nothing about music other than I can power Jam in my car, rockin' out to Justin Timberlake or lip sync my way through heaven with Boyz 2 Men.

Needless to say, today was a disaster. I have no clue what I am doing up there and everyone is staring at you and all I could think was yep that is spit up on my left shoulder and yep that's yogurt my lovely baby smeared on my skirt and yep you are right I didn't re-paint my toes before church today. The list goes on.

But I will continue to go to church. This will not deter me from my activity on Sunday's. EEK

On another note. The first week of school went great. Morgan loves his teacher as do I and Eva is finally warming up to the idea that Morgan does indeed get to leave the house everyday and that he does have fun without her.

I have so far survived my early risings, but am so exhausted by one. Speaking of one, I get up so early now that when one rolls around I think time is or should be closer to five and that bed time is just around the corner. It's not I remind myself that I have 5 more hours with the kids until Jake is home from work, then dinner then scriptures then prayer then BED!

Hopefully I survive this week. We will now be adding Preschool and Ballet this week to the mix of early morning drama. Hopefully it goes off without a hitch. All I keep thinking about is how there is no school tomorrow. No three kids down three flights of stairs and in to the van and then two kids back up the stairs. But starting Tuesday the routine will look something like this.

730 Leave the house with 3 kids and down 3 flights of stairs home in ten minutes with 2 kids and back up we go. in an hour leave with 2 kids down the stairs and come back in 5 minutes with one kid. Hang out for an hour and a half and leave with 1 kid to get another kid, hang out for 15 minutes and pick up the 3rd kid and home we go.

It's tiring just thinking about it. Morgan however has been doing fantastic and is still so excited about school. Thus far his only complaint is that the 2 hours and 45 minutes at school are just to darn long. But I did manage to explain that church is 15 minutes longer than that and you don't get to play on the play ground half way through. He's decided that school is way cooler!

Big Changes

I don't know that I'm ready for them, but they are here and coming fast!
Morgan starts Kindergarten tomorrow! I can't believe my baby is old enough to be in school. The sad thing is, before I know it he will be in first grade and gone all day not just the 2 hours and 45 minutes this year.
He's so grown up, and I am definitely being paid back. I was NOT a bad kid, or even a teenager that caused a lot of problems. But I was REALLY good at rolling my eyes. That little twerp of mine, is rolling his eyes at me. He hates it when I tell him he can't do something, and just last week my ever so polite kid that I hardly have to get after about anything, called me "Lame" What!?!
I thought the Tude would be coming from my already to much of a personality Daughter! She may have her run for her money.
On top of that Eva is starting pre-school. We decided to bite the bullet and pay for her to be out of my hair. In between the days she has school she will be going to Ballet and they are all morning classes. School and ballet will both start at 9 all week long. I see my gas bill going up. At least the school and dance studio are within a few miles of our house.
So It's just me and Miss Liberty for a couple hours a day four days a week.
Exciting I guess but I don't know what I will do with myself. Did I mention Morgan got new glasses. oh boy! I guess we will see how all this goes.
I am for sure not looking forward to getting to school for 745 every morning and having to drag the other 2 with me since Jake will have already left for work. I am not a morning person, never really have been. I could always get up and get to early morning seminary and school, but now that I have spent 6 years just "chillin" getting up is gonna be HARD to do!

Something I like to call "Sundates"

Ever have a day where the entire day you are updating your status in your head.

I always seem to be doing this but never really remember to do it. That being said I'm always laughing to myself because of what I have said.

Like today...

I sit down and think proudly to myself...we made it to Sacrament, the kids aren't killing one another, Jake and I didn't yell at each other(hard to believe i know) there's time to breathe....laugh to self...I even shaved my legs then I look down to admire my handy work and notice I missed a whole strip in the middle of my leg!

so here's my update.... Made it to church on time, so proud of myself then i saw the strip of hair left on my leg and realized today was a big FAIL.

Catch up

I guess I should start with our little one.

Liberty Eliza Toronto was born President's day. (hence the name)

I went in early to have my water broken, I progressed great and went all the way to 9.5 cm before getting my epidural. I'm so happy I did. I did a rest and descend and it was really a good thing for the baby. she was born with the cord wrapped 3 times around her neck. Had I been pushing out of pain it would have strangled her.Definite blessing in disguise. But now I know I can make it at least that  far with the next baby.

Liberty is the most perfect baby. Really she is the champion of champions when it comes to perfection. She has been sleeping through the night for months, she eats like a horse and she literally never cries. LOVE her.

She just had her 5 month check up and she is in the 50th for weight and head and 80th for height. We have some biggins' around her. My favorite thing about she has absolutely NEVER been sick. After my first two I deserve a healthy one.

As for the rest of us, Jake changed jobs. We literally had Liberty and Jake put his 2 weeks notice in. We had to take advantage of our good insurance. In his new job he is the IT man. He is the only programmer so he is always busy busy busy.

Morgan is starting Kindergarten. Which I cannot believe I am old enough to have a kid in school. Eva is getting ready for gymnastics and well I just drive everyone around. We did just trade our suv in and are now proud owners of a Chrysler Town and Country. We can fit 2 more kids in there, before we will be on the hunt for another one. hahaha

Other than that I have been a crafting queen lately and am absolutely loving how everything is coming together in our living room. I have decided that am going to do a sunday post regularly and see how that goes with keeping up with journaling our life.

I guess that is all for now
