Just when I think all incompetence has all but left the building. I have a day like today. LOUSY!
So I take Eva to the Dr today to have a normal checkup and get caught up on her shots. While there the Dr is taking a little longer than she normally would listening to Eva's Chest. quickly followed by Oh yeah you can really hear that Murmur.
"WHAT?!?!?!"
What Murmur are you talking about.
The Dr replying oh you know the one they found when she had all of her scopes done and stuff.
I don't know anything about what you are talking about
Well sure.....well you should the reports sent to me said that Eva is being treated with medicine and routine checks.
ME.........Well If I don't know about it she isn't being treated and I can say she isn't being treated.
Can you believe this nonsense
They have known since April that she has needed treatment and I had no idea. So the Dr says well you need to go right a way for an ECO and we will go from there.
Placing call...........................................................................................................................................
scheduler on the phone
oh....you mean your daughter is under 5!?!? Well we can't do that unless she SEES a cardiologist first.
What?!?! So needless to say of course you can't get in all the easily. So Eva will not be seen until January and then they will schedule the ECO.
Seriously WHAT THE CRAP!
If it is not one thing it soooooooo another. Especially with the health of the kids. They get over one thing or they are at least being treated for it and then you find another t hing.....
Am I just paranoid so I ask the DR about every little thing and that's why we know about all the health problems. I don't think so, my kids are genuinely under the weather. Nothing exaggerated there.

One Loooonggg Update!
Well, on my last post Morgan had just celebrated his 3rd birthday and I had just celebrated my 4th Mothers Day! Can you believe I have been a mother that long. Some don't know this but Morgan was born exactly 10 months to the day that Jake and I were married. The Lord had a higher calling for us and a much better plan than we did, and blessed us to get pregnant on Birth Control. Yes you read that one right. Morgan is .01% and I'm Fertile Myrtle. Anyway, Morgan was born 4 days before Mother's day, 13 days before his Papa's birthday, 22 days before my 21st birthday, and last but not least exactly 2 months before our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! It's been a Wild Ride but it's been fantastic with every single twist, turn or bump in the road we wouldn't have it any other way. The Lord truly knows best and in this case better than we did.
Memorial Day weekend we took a day trip to Moab to Celebrate my Dad's birthday. Moab is a little more than half way for us all to meet and have fun in between our big trips to and from Arizona. It was a blast. Papa was not expecting a birthday surprise, but he got it. We went to a new Restaurant instead of our usual ZAK'S. It was absolutely amazing and they had the biggest variety of food. Then off to the park to play with the Dog(my parents caboose baby) and the surprise cake.
Morgan chose a hunter shooting a deer with the inscription " Happy Birthday Mr Po-Dunk
" It's kind of an inside joke. Every year we put something other than Dad. This past year we had been making fun of my dad saying he was po-dunk and a red neck. "Not that there's anything wrong with that" as to quote Seinfeld.
J Man of course went back to Arizona with my parents for his vacay and had a blast.
June found itself eventful! The Toronto Family was spontaneous. Jake called in and took a last minute PTO day and we drove to Evanston, Wyoming. The four us had an absolute blast. Unfortunately, Jake and I found ourselves teaching "life lessons" on the side of the road when some cows decided to get frisky. Jake and I haven't ever taken a day trip just cuz it would be fun, the whole time we have been together. We always use our vacation to see grandparents.
So if you want to know where to go we'll tell you. There is an awesome Ice Cream shop in down town that does gourmet pretzels and sandwiches. The pretzels are topped with meats, sauces anything you can think of, and the whole shop is decorated vintage. Best of all it wasn't over priced, especially for being in a po dunk little town. There is a gorgeous Oriental garden, Train museum, and drive through park where they keep elk and the like for you to see from the car. On the way home we drove the long way and came home through the Uintah Mountains. It was amazing! We are hoping to plan a group camp out for next summer. The campgrounds were almost completely empty and seconds from lakes and streams. BEAUTIFUL!
THEN........ DUN DUN DUN
Jake caught SWINE FLU at work. The Toronto's were put on QUARANTINE! The kids and I didn't get it, but we all had to take Tamiflu anyway. I think it's because the kids and I get a Flu shot every year, but 135 dollars later the only one to have it was Jake.
Thankfully Jake was all better in time for us to go Camping 4th of July weekend with My parents in Arizona. It was the kids' first camp out. Morgan was in Heaven. We hiked everyday and went fishing. We played baseball, gathered firewood, went four-wheeling and played with the dog. Unlike Utah, Arizona has poison oak. So we spent a great deal of time telling the kids to stay away. When we got home guess who had poison oak. Nope it wasn't me. EVA! She never went near the stuff. All I can figure is Eva was sleeping with the dog and she had been running in it, and so she got it.

So home we came with one itchy Eva.
When we got back Jake and I celebrated our 4th wedding Anniversary!
This is Jake and I July 9th, 2005 in front of the Snowflake, Arizona Temple.
Our sealing was standing room only and this is a picture of everyone in our sealing.
We were so happy to FINALLY be married. We were married 1 year and a day from when we started dating. Luckily Jake was out of the state, but our 7 month engagement was rough. I'm so happy we made it and were married in the Temple. I'm also so happy we took the time to know everything about each other. Jake and I spent 9 of our 12 months in different states I'm so thankful that the Lord was still able to make us come together and be close with free nights and weekends. Yes the spirit works long distance!

Our yummy Cake! It was 6 layers of chocolate cake and fresh strawberry filling. My Favorite, and not traditional white cake or trendy. That's why I liked it so much.

As for August, I got a Blackberry! Jake has truly come to spoil me! I love it, Jake love's it. Seriously you can do anything with this phone. The best way to break in a new phone is go on yet another road trip. Can you tell we don't fly anywhere. hahah
So Jake's family had a reunion as well this summer. Every year the family picks a place to go to together. This year was Estes Park Colorado. Needless to say the bottom of Wyoming is a GOD FORSAKEN LAND! But it has cell service so I was able to Facebook, youtube, googlemap....surf the web listen to Pandora. It was amazing and it kept the Kids busy.
So here's a little preview of our trip to Colorado, and ill post more later.
Just before leaving town Jake had checked the fluids, but was going to put washer fluid in and just lightly closed the hood. The gas station was out of fluid so we decided to leave, no one remembering the hood.So as we are leaving town to drive through Provo Canyon we're driving down 800 North in Orem when all of a sudden..........

Our hood FLEW OPEN!!!!
I seriously just about peed my pants. I was laughing so hard! So we couldn't get it to close, and yours truly SAT on the hood. I still can't keep from laughing every time it comes up....haha no pun intended. Mind you this is all happening right in the middle of the road. We decide hey we should try to open it again to see if we can. Just in case we have an emergency. THE HOOD WON'T OPEN! That's right. Jake is just staring at the car and I'm bent over laughing hysterically trying not to pee myself, and Morgan yells from the car "Not good Dad.....(shaking his head) Nope, NO BUENO." So I start to laugh harder. Jake just looks at me and says well let's go.Then on our happy way we went with no functioning hood. It stayed closed though!

The only excitement in driving across Wyoming is the thrill you get in seeing just how far you can drive on EMPTY and... Windmills. There is nothing for miles and miles and just as your car starts to chug from the lack of life juice it so desperately craves an exit comes into view. A safe haven of truck stops, "showers", and the call of a super sized Dr. Pepper with a side of Hostess.
Our little rendezvous was at a YMCA Camp. Have you ever heard of such a thing. Well it exists. Jake's parents rented cabins for us all to stay in. We were lucky enough to be the only family with a private cabin. We had quite the adventure. NO BATHTUB! Good thing I'm innovative. I made a Bathtub, and the kids thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread! It was a pain to fill and dump out but it was worth every giggle that came from the bathroom.
As you can see in the bathroom the water heater is exposed. Morgan went on and on about this for days, he kept telling me that we needed to find Papa and build a door.Ill post that video later. Hopefully we are just about caught up. Check in again this week to see if I have posted another Looonnnggg upadate

Proud Momma
I guess I will start with Morgan....
Morgan has been going to school and absolutely loves it. He's only been going for a little over a month and he is graduating with his class next week and then he will start summer school. Last week they did evaluations, and Morgan did better than several kids in his class. One of whom has been in the same pre-school level for 2 years.
Morgan knows and recognizes all but 5 letters, he knows all of his shapes and colors. It makes me really happy because, that means he learned all of that from being home with Momma. Before graduating they are having a big field trip, which Morgan is so looking forward to.
My baby is now 3! Can you believe it?!? I certainly can't. He's a sunbeam. I feel like I just had him and now he's 3. Which means 2 things. My birthday is in 2 weeks and 2 months til Jake and I celebrate 5 years together and 4 that we have been married.
The second he woke up he ran to the kitchen grabbed his cake, candles and matches. He made me light the whole thing up.I mean the WHOLE thing. Morgan put 23 candles on his cake. I couldn't hardly get my hand in there to light them all. The best part was most of them were trick candles. You should have seen his face when they wouldn't blow out. It was definitely hilarious.
He also did his Momma proud, when he at 10 pm the night of his birthday quoted his very first movie line.
"Take my body back, Harry"
This has to be one of the most quoted Harry Potter lines in our house. I was BEAMING!
J-Man as we like to call him, woke the other day and was telling me all about a dream he had, had. When he's done he leans up on one hand, fake laughs and says " It was so Crazy Mom"
OH MY GOSH!
He is stinkin' hilarious.
The other day he told me I needed to take him to Grammy's house so that she could take him to see Rachel. Rachel is my sister and will be moving back to Utah next week. However, the best part is that he wanted me to drive him to AZ to my mom's house so she could take him the last 2 hours to see his Aunt. So I of course say no and informs me that it's just a ride. Another thing i've said coming back to haunt me.
Last but not least on J-Man..... Jake has been in Vegas for 3 days now. Friday night I moved our mattress off of our bed and moved it to the living room floor for us to camp out. He has had an absolute blast camping out with me. He keeps telling me every night before bed "Daddy'll be back soon" Anyway, he had so much fun helping hold up the back end of the mattress while we hauled to and from my room. We laughed so hard.
Miss Evita, has quite the vocabulary now.
Mamo = Momo for morgan
nuna = Luna for moon
dinoso = dinosaur

She ceases to amaze me with how dramatic she can be about EVERYTHING! All girl! She loves her babies, and loves to hug and kiss them and to have me do the same. She so loves her brother and has finally reached a stage where she can kind of keep up with him on the playground. They love climbing the stairs and going down the slide on their stomachs.
Eva has no fear when it comes to the slide. Neither does Morgan. HE has started climbing the poles and shimmying across the equipment. Thank goodness for helath insurance. Im afraid this summer may be the summer that Morgan finally breaks an arm or a leg. I'm surprised we have made it this far without a cast.
As for me well I'm surviving. Jake has been gone for 3 days now and won't be back until late Tuesday night. I hate sleeping without him. Morgan doesn't take up enough of the bed.haha
I really don't I wake up a lot and I'm tired the next day. It's just blah. He to is ready to come home. Unfortunately he has to go to work on Wednesday, but at least it's a 3 day weekend.
So that's it my babies are growing up so fast, and are more and more fun everyday.

Look Mommy: Moroni, Star Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake and I have had a very busy month. Morgan spent two whole weeks in Arizona while Eva was busy with her tests. We've had some pretty rough spots since Morgan has been back. He has been very busy testing Mom's line of Defense. After three weeks he has found out the hard way that yes indeed the rules did not change while he was away, and he must behave.
He's also started back at school. Despite his age the teacher felt he should be in the older class. Morgan gets along great with everyone and his teacher Miss Whitney said "Mr. Popularity."
Morgan's been missing his Grandpa's, and asks everyday if we can "Go for a ride," that's what I tell him when we are going to be in the car for a while. He's also been obsessed with camping lately and is trying with all his might to get Jake to sleep in the Cabelas parking lot. The kids love Cabelas. It's one of Morgan's favorite places to have lunch with Daddy. Eva squeals every time we walk in the door. She loves the animals, and absolutely flips out when we walk through the fish tunnel.
Eva is definitely our Drama Queen. Half of the time you don't know how bad she is actually hurt, if at all. She just cries and cries and cries. But she is most definitely mine. She loves to shop. She loves clothes and shoes, the pretzel at the mall. Momma is in pure heaven with her little shopping baby.
We have been focusing a lot on Temples this month, just like last month. Eva for the first time this week said Temple as plain as day. We were so excited as we always are when she learns a new word. Morgan's been very concerned about not knowing what comes out of Moroni's trumpet.
OOOOPPPPSSS!!!!
I may have inadvertently started fake trumpeting the Star Wars theme song, and when he asked me the name of the song Moroni plays I said "Star Wars"
DUH!
So now Morgan tells people every chance he gets about Moroni and his Star wars playing trumpet. One day he will laugh about it I'm sure. Just goes to show how careful you have to be.
We have made progress with Eva. The Blessing of being stern with the Idiot Resident is that I get a personal phone call from the ENT every time a new result comes in.
Eva has Sleep Apnea. Which is good and bad. At least we have a starting point. When her scopes were done, structurally everything was fine. So it's odd that she has Apnea. However, this means that whatever is causing this is also causing the noise she makes during the day.
Right now we are waiting to discuss all of this with a pulmonologist where he will of course run more tests, but we will also decide whether or not surgery or an oxygen mask is the right treatment for the apnea. Unfortunately the ENT thinks that Surgery may be the way to go, since during her sleep study she had forced oxygen on her and her oxygen saturation was still really low.

SO the Toronot's are now LOST!!!!
I don't know who's crazy idea it was for us to start watching LOST, especially when we've never seen an episode. I'm sure it was mine, but Jake and I have seriously watched 2 SEASONS this week. No, you read that one right. We just started the 4th season last night at 11:30 and we have already seen 3 episodes.
Seriously, I think my obsession is getting to be sick. I can't stop with just one. I recommend it though. It never ceases to amaze me. So I guess it's official, we have broken the cycle and Jake and I now have an ABC show that we watch.
When we lived in Married housing we had all of these retarded stations between FOX and ABC that I would forget that anything decent was on past channel 13. Funny I know, but if you have ever experienced BYU cable you know exactly what it is I'm saying. We had something like 8 BYU TV stations. Two in English and the others were random languages. There was a station that played Japanese Soaps, which was funny cuz they aren't modern in any way, it's all very crouching Tiger. I think my favorite retarded stations were the LIVE FEED NASA channels, and a little thing I like to call the RAINBOW stations.
Yep more BYU TV in MORE LANGUAGES, except when there isn't anything they need to broadcast on ie. Conference then it becomes a Rainbow station, which is the beautifully colored striped screen playing BYU RADIO. Are we getting a theme here?
Anyway, the point is Jake and I are huge FOX people. I have watched Prison Break since the beginning I'm a diehard and I'm so sad it's ending in 4 more episodes. American Idol, HOUSE, Bones, Lie to Me, Hell's Kitchen, Prison Break. You name it and it's FOX we probably watch it, At least I do, well except that new retarded show DOLLHOUSE. BLAH, retarded, the commercials for that one from day one has said " I'm a guy show, skanky girls run around with no real purpose except for BOOBS to flop about"
Lucky for me Jake has no interest in watching other girls, run around. HAHAHAH I know Right!
Anyway, that's been our stress reliever around here, wish us luck on Finishing Season 4, I'm sure we will be watching Season 5 by the end of the weekend. Good thing Church isn't until 11.

The Positive Side
As many know, Eva had several procedures done today. We still won't know the results of her biopsies until at best the end of next week if not the end of April.
All day Eva has had a tube down her nose and into her tummy. They are limiting her eating which is also causing her to be both pissy and uncomfortable. Oh and on the way here our car broke down.
When it rains it POURS!
On the POSITIVE side. Eva has had her moments of chipperness, is sleeping fairly well for being checked every 30 minutes and was soothed to sleep tonight when we found a Grand Piano that you are allowed to play. Jake was rocking out Beauty and the Beast, and Jazzed up some hymns.
Eva will be having a Cystic Fibrosis test done in the morning and that's all we have for now.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for our Family
Love the Toronto's
